Accessibility Statement

What we aim for

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the standard we build client sites to and the one referenced by the Equality Act 2010 in practice.

We test with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at 200% zoom, and with automated checks on every page at build time.

What we have done

Specifically:

• Every page is fully operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page
• Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1, and large text 3:1
• Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function
• All form fields have proper labels, not placeholder text pretending to be labels
• Headings follow a logical order with exactly one H1 per page
• Images carry alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
• Nothing relies on colour alone to convey meaning
• Animation respects the reduced-motion preference
• No content flashes more than three times a second

Known limitations

We are not aware of any WCAG 2.2 AA failures at present. Where third-party content is embedded in future — a map, a video player, a review widget — we may not fully control its accessibility, and we will list any such issues here honestly rather than quietly.
