Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with personal information you give us through this website. It is written to be readable rather than to be legally impressive.

Who we are
This website is operated by Dijitul Ltd, trading as Web Design Mansfield, of The Bungalow, 11 St John Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 1QJ. We are the data controller for information collected here.
If you have a question about your data, email info@web-design-mansfield.co.uk or ring 01623 272050.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and only two.
- What you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, business name, the service you are interested in, your budget range and your message.
- Anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visitor was, what type of device they used, and how they arrived. This does not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
Enquiry details are used to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. That is it. We do not sell it, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and which are not, so we can improve the site.
Our lawful basis
For enquiries, our lawful basis is legitimate interest — you contacted us asking for a reply, and replying is the obvious expected use of that information.
For analytics, the lawful basis is consent, given through your cookie choice.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after two years. Client records are kept for seven years after the end of the relationship, because HMRC requires business records to be retained for six.
Analytics data is retained for fourteen months.
Who else sees it
Our email is delivered through SMTP2GO, so enquiry emails pass through their systems in transit. Analytics is provided by Google. Our servers are operated by us in the United Kingdom.
Nobody else. We do not use a CRM that syncs your details to a third party, and we do not run advertising pixels that share your information with ad networks.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage, and these are only set once you have accepted them.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. The site works perfectly well without them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted, where we have no legal reason to keep it
- Object to how we are processing it
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection, stored on UK servers with restricted access, and email credentials are held outside the web root where they cannot be served to a visitor.
No system is perfectly secure, but we do not collect payment details or sensitive personal data through this website, so the exposure is deliberately small.
