What things actually cost

Worth saying
Cheap, but not cheap and nasty
There is a version of a £250 website that is worth nothing: a template with your logo dropped in, on a platform you can never leave, with a monthly fee that never ends and never gives you ownership. That is not what this is.
Ours is built properly — fast, mobile-first, with the SEO foundations in place and full ownership handed to you at the end. We can charge £250 for it because we are a small team in Mansfield with low overheads and twenty years of tooling behind us, not because we have taken things out.
What we still will not do is sell you something you do not need. If a website is not your problem, we will say so — that has not changed just because the prices did.
Questions about pricing
Are these prices real?
Yes. They are genuine starting points, not teasers designed to get you on the phone. Plenty of our Starter sites go out at exactly £250. Where a project will cost more, we tell you at the quote stage and explain exactly why before you commit to anything.
Do the prices include VAT?
No — all prices exclude VAT, which is added at the standard rate.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Standard terms are 50% to start and 50% on launch. For larger projects we split it across milestones. If cash flow is tight, ask — we can usually work something out.
What is not included?
Domain registration (about £12 a year), stock photography if you want it, premium plugins or apps where a project needs them, and ongoing hosting from £5 a month. We list all of these in the quote rather than surprising you later.
How can you be this cheap?
Low overheads and a very efficient process. We are a small team in Mansfield, not a city-centre agency with account managers, a sales floor and a rent bill to cover. We have also built our own tooling over twenty years, so the parts of a website that used to take days now take hours. None of that changes what you get — it changes what it costs us to make.
Is there a catch — do I end up locked into something?
No. The build price is a one-off and you own everything at the end of it: the domain, the code, the content, the accounts. Hosting and maintenance are optional, monthly, and cancellable with thirty days’ notice. We do not do the model where the website is cheap because you can never leave.
What if my project does not fit any of these?
Most do not fit exactly, which is why every service page carries its own starting price. Tell us what you need and we will price it specifically. The packages are a guide to the shape of things, not a menu you have to order from.
Want a real number for your project?
Tell us what you need and we will give you a fixed price, usually within a working day. No obligation, and no salesperson will ring you afterwards.
