Business Photography in Mansfield
A visitor can tell within a second whether the smiling people on your homepage work for you. Stock photography quietly tells them you had nothing real to show.
Real photographs are one of the highest-return things a small business can put on a website, and one of the most consistently skipped. The premises, the team, the vans, the work in progress, the finished job.
It matters most for trades and services sold on trust. Somebody deciding whether to let you into their house wants to see what you look like and what your work looks like. Stock images of an unrelated smiling man in a hard hat do the opposite of reassuring.
We shoot it, we deliver it optimised for web use, and we make sure the file sizes will not wreck your page speed.
What you get
On location, at your business
Premises, workshop, shop floor, vehicles, team. Wherever the real thing is.
Work in progress, not just finished
Before, during and after tells a story that a single finished shot cannot.
Delivered ready for the web
Correctly sized, compressed, in modern formats. Photographers routinely hand over 8MB files that then destroy a site’s loading speed.
Full usage rights
Yours to use anywhere — website, social, print, advertising — with no licensing fee and no time limit.
Product photography if you sell things
Consistent lighting and background across a range, which matters far more for an online shop than any individual shot.
What to photograph, in order of value
If the budget only stretches to a half day, do these:
- The team, individually and together. People buy from people.
- The premises or workshop from outside, so customers recognise it when they arrive.
- Two or three completed jobs, well lit and properly framed.
- Work in progress — this is the content that performs best on social.
- Vehicles with livery, which doubles as proof you are an actual business.
Doing it yourself, properly
Modern phone cameras are genuinely good, and we would rather you took decent photos yourself than paid us for something you can do. Three rules cover most of it: shoot near a window with the light behind you, wipe the lens first because it is always smeared, and take four times as many as you think you need.
What phones still cannot do well is consistent product photography across a range, and interiors that need balancing against bright windows. Those are worth paying for.
What affects the price
From £95 is a genuine starting point, not a teaser. Here is what moves it, so you can work out roughly where you would land before you ring us.
- Half day or full day on site
- How many products, people or locations
- Whether retouching beyond basic correction is needed
- Travel, if you are outside the immediate area
Why local matters here
Business Photography — the Mansfield picture
We can be at your premises in fifteen minutes, which changes the economics. A half day shoot does not need to be an event you plan a month ahead — we can fit it around a quiet morning.
It also means we can come back. Seasonal shots, a new van, a new member of staff. That works locally in a way it does not with a photographer travelling from Nottingham.

Business Photography — your questions
How much does business photography cost?
From £95 for a short on-site session covering the essentials, £195 for a half day and £350 for a full day. All include edited images delivered ready for web use with full rights.
Do I own the photographs?
Yes. Full usage rights, no licence fee, no expiry. Use them wherever you like.
Can you photograph my products for an online shop?
Yes. For a shop, consistency across the range matters more than any single image, so we shoot to a fixed setup and background.
What if my premises are a mess?
Most working premises are. We photograph around it, and honestly a bit of genuine mess in a workshop reads as more authentic than a staged one.
