Paid advertising

PPC Management in Mansfield

Most businesses do not need to be on every ad platform. They need to be on the one or two where their customers actually are, run properly.

PPC covers everything you pay per click or impression for: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta across Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and shopping feeds.

They behave very differently. Google catches people actively looking for what you sell, so intent is high and so is the price. Meta and TikTok interrupt people who were not looking, so the click is cheap but you have to create the demand. LinkedIn is expensive and only justifiable for high-value B2B.

We will tell you which one or two of those fit your business, and be honest about the ones that do not.

What you get

A recommendation before a plan

We look at what you sell, who buys it and at what value, then say which platforms are worth your money. Sometimes the answer is one, and that is a perfectly good answer.

Tracking that survives modern browsers

Server-side conversion tracking where it is warranted, offline conversion import so you can feed back which enquiries became sales, and consent handled properly.

Creative that suits the platform

A Meta ad and a Google search ad have almost nothing in common. We produce for the platform rather than resizing one asset five ways.

Budget moved to what works

Reviewed monthly against cost per enquiry, not against how much each platform reports as a "conversion" using its own generous attribution.

Remarketing that is not creepy

Sensible frequency caps and exclusion of people who already converted. Following someone round the internet for six weeks after they bought is a waste of budget and mildly insulting.

One consolidated report

Every platform in one place, with a genuine attempt at cross-channel attribution rather than each platform separately claiming credit for the same enquiry.

Which platform suits which business

Rough guidance, and we will refine it for your specifics:

  • Google Search — anything people actively search for. Trades, professional services, urgent needs.
  • Microsoft Ads — cheaper clicks, older and more affluent audience. Often overlooked and worth testing for B2B.
  • Meta — visual products, local awareness, events, and anything where you need to create demand rather than capture it.
  • TikTok — genuinely effective for products with a visual hook and a younger buyer. Wasted on most B2B.
  • LinkedIn — expensive per click. Only viable when a customer is worth thousands.
  • Google Shopping — essential for physical product retail, often the best-performing channel outright.

What we will not do

We will not run every platform because it grows our management fee. We will not report "conversions" that include someone watching three seconds of a video. And we will not keep a campaign alive because stopping it would reduce our billing.

If paid advertising is not working for your business, we would rather tell you and move the budget to something that does.

What affects the price

From £150/month is a genuine starting point, not a teaser. Here is what moves it, so you can work out roughly where you would land before you ring us.

  • How many platforms are running
  • Total ad spend under management
  • Whether creative and landing pages are produced by us
  • Ecommerce feeds and shopping campaigns add complexity

Why local matters here

PPC Management — the Mansfield picture

For most Mansfield service businesses, Google Search plus a modest Meta remarketing budget covers it. The local audience is small enough that you can reach a large share of it without an enormous spend, and broad awareness campaigns tend to be poor value at this scale.

Retail and hospitality are the exception — Meta and Instagram genuinely work for local footfall, particularly for events, offers and anything with a strong visual.

PPC Management — your questions

What does PPC management cost?

10-15% of ad spend with a £150 monthly minimum. For most local businesses that is £150 to £300 a month on top of the advertising budget itself.

How much should I spend on ads?

Work backwards from what a customer is worth. If a job is worth £1,500 profit and one enquiry in three converts, you can afford up to £500 per enquiry. Most local trades come in well under £50, so the maths is usually comfortable.

Do Facebook ads work for local businesses?

For retail, hospitality, events and visually appealing services, yes. For urgent need-it-now services, less so — nobody scrolling Facebook decides they need a drain unblocking. Those belong on Google.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Monthly rolling with thirty days’ notice, and the ad accounts remain yours — we work inside your account, not ours, so you keep the history if you leave.
