Print Design in Mansfield

Printers reject an enormous amount of supplied artwork — wrong colour space, no bleed, fonts not embedded, images at screen resolution. That delay is avoidable.

Print is not dead for local businesses — leaflet drops, van-mounted flyers, brochures handed over at a quote and menus on tables all still generate work.

What has changed is the standard. A cheap leaflet now reads as a cheap business, because everyone has seen enough good design to notice.

We design it properly and supply it in the exact format your printer asked for, so it goes straight to press rather than bouncing back with a list of problems.

What you get

Print-ready artwork, correct first time

CMYK, 3mm bleed, crop marks, fonts outlined, images at 300dpi. This is the difference between a job going to press and a week of emails.

Designed for how it will be used

A leaflet coming through a letterbox has about two seconds. A brochure handed over at a quote has ten minutes. Those are different designs.

Consistent with everything else

Same typefaces, colours and treatment as your website and signage, so it all looks like one business.

Copy written if you need it

Most print fails on words rather than layout. Too much text, no clear offer, and no obvious next step.

Print management, optional

We get quotes, check proofs and handle delivery — or hand you the files to print wherever you like.

What print still does well

  • Leaflet drops in defined streets — still effective for trades, and highly targetable
  • Something to leave behind after quoting, which keeps you in mind against competitors
  • Menus, price lists and tariff cards, where people want to hold something
  • Business cards, still expected in trades and professional services
  • Van-mounted flyers and door hangers for local service work

What makes a leaflet work

One offer, stated plainly. A reason to act now. A phone number large enough to read across a kitchen. And something that makes it worth keeping — a discount code, a checklist, a magnet.

The most common failure is trying to say everything. A leaflet listing fourteen services persuades nobody to ring about any of them.

What affects the price

From £45 is a genuine starting point, not a teaser. Here is what moves it, so you can work out roughly where you would land before you ring us.

  • Number of pages or items in the set
  • Whether copy and photography are supplied
  • How many rounds of amends are likely
  • Whether we handle print management as well

Why local matters here

Print Design — the Mansfield picture

Leaflet drops still work around Mansfield in a way they have stopped working in cities, partly because volume is lower so yours is not one of nine that morning.

Targeting specific estates — Forest Town, Berry Hill, Rainworth — is cheap and measurable if you use a different phone number or code per area, which almost nobody does.

Also asked for as

People describe this in a lot of different ways. If you searched for any of these, you are in the right place — it is the same service.

Print Design — your questions

How much does leaflet design cost?

From £45 for a single-sided A5 leaflet, £95 for a folded A4, £195 to £395 for a multi-page brochure. Fixed price agreed before we start.

Can you arrange printing too?

Yes, and we can usually get better rates than walk-up prices. Equally happy to hand over the files for you to print elsewhere.

What files do I get?

Print-ready PDF for the printer, plus the working file. You paid for the design, so you get the artwork.

Do leaflets still work?

For local trades and services, yes, particularly targeted at specific streets. Response rates are low by nature, so the maths only works if the job value is decent. We will run that calculation with you before you print five thousand.

Fancy a straight answer about your website?

Tell us what you are trying to do and we will tell you what it takes, what it costs, and whether it is even worth doing. No pitch deck, no pressure.
